Biomedical Signal Processing

Introduction:
Hello friends, how can we know whether our body is functioning properly?. The answer is we have to measure the physiological components of our body like blood pressure, heart rate level, sugar level, nerve conduction and brain activity. This can be achieved by physiological instruments which converts electrical signal into biological signal.

  Real-time monitoring:
Real-time monitoring is the process for dealing with chronic disease , earlier detection of hear failure, heart attack and strokes. When a patient is in critical state his health conditions must be  monitored at real time for better analysis and diagnosis.

 Cloud Computing:
It is useful in rural and remote areas where hospitials and clinics are not available for real time monitoring and regular check ups for patients. This application provides a Telemedicine where light weight chips are integrated and worn by patients or implanted into them.

Multiscale Signal Processing:
This Multiscale signal processing is now initially under development. Engineers are undertaking a lot of research for prediction of diseases on a patients body based on his health condition with most reliability. Medicine is an empirical field. Doctors diagnose the disease based on what the studied and their knowledge gained from books. But , whereas Engineers try to understand about a particular system and focus on them.
